Fun. Vibrant. Cute. Happy. Weird. These are the words that Carmen Szeto wants people to PHYSICALLY FEEL when they see her art. After spending 9 years as a graphic designer and wondering why she has always felt out of place creating commercial designs for boring companies, she found her true calling to become an illustrator when she signed up for her first convention early 2020. Since then, Carmen has leapt with both feet off of the cliff and into a sea of colourful, charming, and whimsical illustrations. It is her mission to create work that can help bring a smile to someone’s face and brighten someone’s day. She is an advocate of mental health and animal welfare and hopes to soon incorporate donations to charities as part of her mission statement!
