Fun. Vibrant. Cute. Happy. Weird. These are the words that Carmen Szeto wants people to PHYSICALLY FEEL when they see her art. After spending 9 years as a graphic designer and wondering why she has always felt out of place creating commercial designs for boring companies, she found her true calling to become an illustrator when she signed up for her first convention early 2020. Check out her full bio HERE.
Squirrel!?!? This illustration is inspired by Carmen's love for the goodest bois. Mother to 2 good bois herself, Carmen just wanted to draw a bunch of dogs. This illustration features some guest stars: Winston (her 2yo rescued Formosan Mountain Dog), Teddy (her 8yo Australian Shepherd albeit in the more well-known Aussie colours), and Gus (the floppy eared baby at the top as a homage to the first digital drawing she ever did). Also, there is really a squirrel in the drawing 🐿
